Barefoot Tiki Bar in Anna Maria Island

I arrive at this special restaurant once a month as I like the good air that is exist in this place. The staff is very friendly and skilfull. The service is remarkablywonderfully quick. Needless to say, the food they serve is exceptionaly good. I visited often and I was always pleased. The cost is decent. I highly suggest this restaurant to to all.

I love this place! Service was great, the food was delicious and it sits right on beach so the view was the amazing! It has a truely authentic beach feel. I highly recommend this restaurant for all ages and it's pet friendly! ❤

Decided to try this place out since we love coming over to Bradenton Beach from St. Pete. We normally go to The Beach House, and thought that the Kokonut Hut would be nice due to its location but it was horrible. The salad we ordered was warm, the fries served with my gyro were ice cold but the gyro was warm...we had to move inside to the bar because of the weather, which we wouldn't have to if we had been at The Beach House. When we did move into the bar, it smelled of trash and mildew as we were sitting right by the drink rail. Definitely wont be coming back due to the food and the lack of cleanliness.

Service was fine. Breakfast was terrible and over-priced. Sausage was the size of a silver dollar. Biscuits were frozen biscuits. A real tourist trap. If you want a really good breakfast go to the Long Beach Cafe.

Our waitress was very nice.... But extremely overworked. The hostess didn't know that she assigned the server two different sections in two different places of the resteraunt. Our waitress was literally running around. She was only able to get to our table three times through the time we were there. It was not her fault. It was definitely not worth the money. I clearly could tell, and we talked with her about it. I have been a server most of my professional life, so I can see things other people can't when I go out. I really hope management pays more attention to the host's job duties and responsibilities.

As a local this is my go to spot, absolutely perfect!

We have eaten here over the past seven years since we purchased a condo close by. It used to be a place we took guests and quite enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Live music used to be great. We have been disappointed consistently for months now. Last night was the worst. The grouper tacos were terrible!! They were some slimy fish I couldn’t eat. I was not charged, but, couldn’t let this go without a review!!They need to go back to the same quality we had come to expect!

We came here years ago and decided to drive out to Anna Marie Island and found this place again. They have grown larger but the food is still great. Right on the beach too! We will be back again and not years later!

Strong drinks and good bar food. Our waiter was kind and attentive even though there was a crowd. Unfortunately couldn't spend time on the outdoor patio (private party) but it looked like it would be a fun place to come back to and see a sunset.

One of my favorite places on the beach. We usually park up the road and walk the beach to it. We have never ordered food here though what folks have gotten looks great. We walk there for a drink and to enjoy the water. Wait staff are friendly and accommodating. You should absolutely give it a try-

This was a very impressive restaurant. These people were really great and had a fun time. The waiters were great and were really enjoying. They had really amazing live music. Really enjoyed this experience!

Great food, I recommend the Mango Avocado Shrimp Salad. Oh, and get yourself seated ON the beach! Beautiful sunsets nightly.

Stopped in here while walking the beach. Had some drinks and apps. Both we great. staff was friendly and attentive. Live band was quite good too!

At the moment you arrive in this restaurant the waiters give you a comfortable feeling. Very friendly hosts, it is a kind place to hang out with your friends or with your date. delicious cuisine, specialist chef, good pay and professional service. Warmly recommended.

I like this place of you're looking for somewhere casual to go after a beach day. Beach dive bar.

The location is really the only draw. Their food isn't bad, but nothing so amazing that it is worth the wait, being passed over for seating because the buzzer they handed you wasn't charged or waiting longer for the waiter to come to your table than it took to actually get seated at said table. If you are a tourist, then hit this place up because you have all the time to sit around and wait. If you're a local, go elsewhere. There are plenty of other local businesses that will take much better care of you and appreciate your business.

Great atmosphere, food ok not special its all about the view and thats fine by me, theres alot of awsome place to eat but Not with view.

Even with the beer tap being out and being really crowded best sunsets ever! Nice staff

View and surroundings are great. Food so so. Prices kinda high but you're at the beach.

The open tiki-hut style embiance mixed with the sounds of the ocean waves and smell of the beach easily changes my mood for the better. A great place to meet friends/ family for a drink or maybe a quick lunch. The staff are great, the menu is limited right now because of Covid-19 but is normally extensive and reasonably priced.

On vacation. Wanted take out. No prices on menus we had in hotel. Just spent $80 on two sandwiches and two appetizers. Ordered fries as well but never got them in the order. Ordered the Scallops appetizer. It had a whooping 4 scallops. And coconut Shrimp appetizer. Which was pretty good but tiny shrimp and just basic. Long story short, I can spend half the money at a chain like red lobster, on better tasting seafood and way better portions. Don’t recommend this place. Good clam chowder though.

The place was located right on the beach, they had live music, cool tiki huts, bacardi rum buckets for $15 that I didn't try but was tempted to and you can get a Corona or a bud for like $4 or $5...not too shabby

Best oceanfront bar on the entire Anna Maria island imo.

Beautiful place, came here for my sister's wedding on the beach which was absolutely beautiful. We then gathered in the hut for music, food and dancing. Staff were lovely, and always made sure we had enough water and entrees. Would definitely recommend.

Food was not good for the price. Had a glass of water spilled on me when bringing water to the table no apology. The atmosphere was nice but needs a better menu.

Right on the beach so the view is great. Lightly battered and fried grouper bites are delicious. The wait staff is a little inexperienced but happy to see young people working. Can bring drinks in the sand and sit under a tiki!

The kokonut hut is by far one of the BEST places to visit on Anna Maria. You can sit outside right on the beach, only steps from the sand. They have a little ship with lots of cute things for kids and adults. The place has some of the best drinks on the island and is family friendly!

EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!! Tony, Marissa, and Geoff have all been iconic in my visit here for best friend’s wedding!!! Their incredible service brought me back for night 2 of my visit. So thankful to have a staff who cares about me and their customers and also OH-IO! Thank you all 3! My family, friends and I will for sure be back!

I'm giving this place 4 stars STRICTLY for the location. I love coming here for sunset. Try the Key Lime Colada. It tastes just like a blended up piece of pie.

Amazing food while hanging on the beach. Whats not to love.

Extremely over priced for the food. Unorganized in service. My mother in law ordered crab cakes which were 16 dollars and got 4 that were literal bite size. Peel and eat shrimp tasted like rubber, we sent them back & which was a order of 12 , and when they came back we got 8 , because each of us tried some, which was odd. They were almost non edible. Food came before the appetizers and my sons orders came out 15 minutes after everyone got their food and was almost done. Just extremely over priced, you don't even get fries with you order which you would expect... its extra. I would not recommend this to anyone. Im lot a person who ever would write a review.. but this place was just a mess.

Fantastic place to have a drink and some food. Best part is the scenery. Watching the waves crash in, then watching the sun set there. Couldn't ask for s better place.

Most of the time the service is good. The food is also good. But what makes this spot is the location, so for that reason I think sometimes service isn’t on point because they know ppl will come there simply because of location. I go there for the same reason SO don’t expect anything stellar in food or service...But you simply can’t beat the view.

Nice place with cold beer and possibly the best bartender on the island. Jeff from Jersey is awesome!! Always greets us with a smile and firm handshake and usually has a funny comment as he is making our drink order from memory. Can’t wait to go back and we love the fact that we can go anytime we want instead of a few yrs ago when we only saw him on our vacation. Great place with amazing views and good people all around.

Its was nice I had the shrimp tacos with slaw and pineapple in it was so good and it's right on the water so nice the view. And there drinks mmmmmmmm....

service was horrible , food was very over priced and not good at all. water was spilled all over my mom & we couldn’t even see to eat our food bc it was so dark. our waitress looked over worked & hardly came to our table, they also took over an hour to bring our food out and wasn’t very crowded.

Definitely one of my favorite places on the island. The rum runner will definitely rock your world. Grouper bites are my favorite

Fun place to eat on the beach. Usually busy but pretty good food and good drinks. For sure can't beat the view under the tiki huts.
